We do not guarantee the job placement, but our dedicated career services and student support team assists the students in finding healthcare jobs in their local communities.

How will HTA support me to secure the externship sites?

Our dedicated Career Services Team provide Placement and Externship Support to our students. They help the students by offering them mentorship regarding how they can build their professional profile and reach out to the employers. If HTA has any partner sites in their locality, the advisors help the students find an externship there or otherwise coach them about how to approach their externships. When the student finds an externship site, the advisor will get in touch with them on the institute’s behalf so all the requirements of the externship or job can be met. If needed, the advisor facilitates this process for the students. The team offers all the support, but the students are ultimately responsible for securing their own clinical sites.

What is included as part of the Career Services?

All of the students are eligible for 2 Career Advising Sessions which they are required to schedule. The first session happens when the student has completed 50% of their overall program and 50% when the student has completed 100% of their training program. The Career Advisors at HTA are dedicated and passionate to help the students reach their finish line. They help the students in their resume and LinkedIn profile building along with mentorship regarding finding the externship sites or job opportunities. The advisors share employer communication assets which the students can use to reach out to their potential employers.
